Soccer: The Best Sport EVER

Oh man, tonight was our first Intermural soccer game. It was so awesome, even though the other team didn't show up. They took one look at us warming up and ran away! Well...maybe not, but it's a possibility. But, all the players on the team are so great, we stuck around and played for an hour after our hour warm-up. Most of us hadn't played in a long while, but it was still great. Stupid Big Man thinks he can push me around...I did miss two opportunities, but none of us were playing at the top of our games. We decided to stop the game after I got hit in the face with the ball and started bleeding. But the lights were going out anyways. Anywho, just thought I'd share the great game, and hopefully next game we'll have a team to play against!

wow...so I just got back to Cali from Michigan last night after an unusual turn of events. I woke up on saturday and had a voicemail from Northwest saying my flight on Sunday was canceled. Soooo, after turning around from going to the mall, I changed my flight to one later saturday afternoon. This wasn't what I or my family was expecting, but we travel so much it wasn't a big deal. After packing very quickly, I still had time to beat my dad in chess one last time :)

So now that I'm back in California, it feels strangely more like home than Michigan did. While I was gone for 9 months, my mom painted my room, got new covers for my bed, our last cat died, etc... I did enjoy being away from school work for a while, but I don't think I'll have a great desire to go back anytime soon other than to see friends. Maybe thats what really brought it out was because for my first week back in Michigan, everyone else was still in school! So that kinda made a bad start...but it wasn't all bad. Got to drive down to UofM to pick up JB, spent some quality time with Jon C and Danny. Another great drive with JB (where we DIDN'T get lost) to see Leah...yeah, not bad at all.

But it is definately good to be back home and about to start classes tomorrow. hope this quarter won't kick my ass too much!
