As I'm finishing up this project I'm doing in stats class, I'm looking at some responses I got from people who took my survey. This one was just too funny so I have to share it:

" The best way to conduct a survey is to account for all variables. In the case of this particular survey, my particular demographic was neglected. I do not own a cellular phone. I prefer my privacy to any form of handheld "convenient" form of communication. The few cents required to call from a payphone are hardly a strain on my budget, I worry about no contracts or service plans. I've never told anyone I was going through a tunnel. I hate the "can you hear me now?" guy. My landlines are available whenever I want to call someone, and I have an answering machine that allows me to screen calls and get back to you at my own convenience, not at your command. Driving my car, which was designed before even the earliest Vietnam-era handheld phones, I prefer to direct my full attention to the road. My home phone has an actual bell inside it, and is infinitely more audible and less annoying than any downloadable ringtone you have. I have a camera for taking pictures, a computer for the internet, and a pocketbook for phone numbers - why do I need a phone to do these things as well? In short, I see no reason for me to own a cellphone, and no honesty or accuracy in a survey which disregards the possibility that an anachronism such as myself may still exist in the world. Good luck with your survey."

bwahahahhaha!!! I should make surveys more often with free response fields. I want to meet this guy!
