Whew, so the time is finally coming near. My stupid little internship starts tomorrow. I'm not very excited for the hour long commute each morning to the east side of London. But that's what I have a PSP for...and a laptop to read some homework on. Still...I'm not looking forward to waking up at 6:30.
So Leah has come and gone. I think she had a great first trip to Europe, London and Rome. Not a bad start...it was kinda fun being the tour guide, a little tiring but fun. Now I'm warmed up for the rest of my visitors, who start piling up. That'll probably make the rest of my time here fly by even faster. Next week is November. Awesome.
Since blogger STILL won't let me upload pictures, you'll all have to wait. Sorry...
I know I said I'd try to make these posts more interesting, but it's early and I have to wake up. I'm sure I'll have some interesting stories from my internship and commute soon. Don't worry...

So I have my first visitor in town, which means it was sight seeing time for the last two days! We saw sooooo much, it was awesome. The place where we got the best pictures was when we stumbled upon some crazy celebs. HOWEVER, blogger is being dumb and not letting me upload pictures at the moment. But have no fear, it will be worked out I'm sure and then you'll get to see some rather stupid pictures of me...
Currently my guest is down in Rome for a few days, this being her first time to Europe, so she's enjoying other parts than just London. It'll give me a day or two to maybe actually do some homework. I should probably do that...
I cannot believe how clean the flat is right now. It's amazing when there aren't 11 guys messing it all up! Now if only it would stay this way for longer than a week...mmm, yeah dreaming.
Oh! New Powerbooks out today! I will have one in December...I have decided. That is all.

Alright well it looks like I'm again glad I didn't read any reviews before seeing a movie. Both Domino and Revolver are hated by reviewers. Why? I have no idea...
I guess that's why I don't read reviews. Sure they're helpful sometimes, but I just tend to ignore them. I enjoyed Domino, but Kiera is possibly one of my favorite actresses, so I'm a little biased. One of the reviews I read said that there was no time in the movie to sit back and reflect on what was happening. Obviously! It's not that kind of movie! Sheesh...
In other news, I have the entire flat all to myself this week. It's our break, so everyone is gone. I don't mind at all, it might actually be clean for a little bit. Imagine that...I can't. Leah's coming tomorrow which should be fun. She's never been to Europe, and she's getting to London and Rome, which is awesome. She'll have fun. So I'll have some pictures from our adventure soon enough!

So we got this awesome letter yesterday, and we of course had to put our feelings on it and post it up in our flat:
Basically, we've apparently been identified as a problem flat, and we'll be having some weekly inspections or something. This is so rediculous. When our "RA" came in and told us about it, she mentioned something about one of us maybe seeing a mouse, when there have been plenty of other flats who have seen mice multiple times. Then she was telling us about how we don't take out our trash. We do, but they don't give us enough trash bags, so it's a bunch of crap. Whatever, I'm over it. Our feelings are expressed quite well, and I hope they see it when they walk through our flat next. Oh, and now that our network is sorta working, they're talking about getting us another connection...in 4 WEEKS! Knowing FIE it'll take at least 8, and then we'll be gone. I realize that they just purchased this building because they're expanding, but jeez, maybe they could have done this earlier? That and we had some plumber guys in our building for the last week adding these awesome pipes down the center of the whole house. Ugh...little more than 9 weeks...
Other than that, today was pretty slow. No class, people leaving for their break, but I did get to sit through the Apple media event today. New video iPods!
Apple is gonna get soooo much of my money if they release a new powerbook next week...dang it...the new iTunes is pretty cool, the whole looking through videos is pretty slick. But I just want new Powerbooks!!!

Alright, so seeings how I'm on a little break from school, I figured I'd spend a little time on this darn thing. So, as you can see, there are some pretty buttons over on the right. You can see if I'm on AIM, Skype me (get
skype if you don't have it!), subscribe to my blog if you have an RSS reader, or even get my new posts emailed to you! Crazy! I dunno, just trying to spice things up around here. I also will strive to make my posts more interesting...I promise...
Well well, look what I found:
I doubt it's the real stuff, but it's definitely 55% alcohol. Could make for a fun night...
So marketing is officially over! I turned in my paper this morning. It was an alright class, maybe a little better than the one I took at Santa Clara just because we did projects on local places that we got to go to. Obviously that's cool cause I'm in London. But, I have NO CLASS for the rest of the week, but I have some homework to do. That's the only part that sucks. BUT it should be alright, as some people are leaving so the flat will be nice and quiet. And Leah's coming next sunday, which will also be awesome. Well, time to go do something...or other...

Alright, so this is awesome. The area that I'm living in right now is quite rich. There are more Porsche's and exotics than I care to mention. But something caught my eye...I've been on the lookout for one of the new M5's ever since I got here. It's always been just another new 5 series, until now. I've seen two of them! Sooooo amazing...
The shot is kinda from far away, as the guy in the car was looking at me strangely as I was drooling all over the street and almost needed a towel. I didn't get a chance to see if it was just SMG or if it came in stick. I didn't want to get shot or anything.
That was about the most exciting part of my day. My marketing class is over tomorrow, but I still have a bit of work to do on my final project. Almost done though!

Well, I don't want to curse it, but it looks like the wireless is working in our building. It's been on more than off today, which is a BIG step. AND skype was working...which is a big plus.
Yesterday, we had our second session of the most pointless lecture ever. We have this bi-weekly lecture to go along with our internship. Sooooo pointless. The teacher isn't really a teacher, so he doesn't really know how to run a class, and the topics are just kind of dumb. I'll muddle through it, but it's so annoying to have to write "reflections" EVERY week about how our job went. Whatever, at least we get credit for this internship, unlike my other two...stupid OMIS...
Other than that, just finishing up on my final paper for my marketing class. FIE is abusing us by making us write up marketing plans for their international expansion. I mean, if they want to go into other countries, don't you think they should get their current programs sorted out first?! Obviously I can't put that in my paper, but that's what I think.
Off to bed...another long day of homework tomorrow. I can't believe our COMM prof. is making us read 5 articles per week. IN-SANE!

So sorry about the lack of recent postings. We're having some issues with the wireless in our flat. Obviously it's not fixed yet...I have such low hopes that I'm hoping it'll be done by the weekend. Soooo....that's why.
It was a fairly boring weekend anyways. I had a marketing presentation due today so I had to work on that. A bunch of my friends had gone to Spain as well, so it was nice and quiet. We presented the project today, and all we have left is a final paper in that class. So that's awesome that it's almost done! Still have 3 classes and my internship though...
After my presentation today we went to the British Museum. I didn't bring my camera cause it's almost out of batteries, but I fully intend on going back there and getting some better shots. Here's the entrance:
There's TONS of cool stuff in there, like the Rosetta Stone and basically all the sculptures from the Parthenon. That kinda bugs me...but oh well. Maybe they'll give it back sometime soon. Ha...
Well, I have a lecture in a little, but there's my update.
